Worthy Brief - 8/22/2019

Friend, don't crash!

John 8:36 If the Son, therefore, shall make you free, you shall be free indeed.

We know a Christian woman who has struggled with her past for years. She rarely thinks or speaks of anything else. And as a result, her life has just spiraled downward, despite all our attempts to minister to her. It breaks our hearts to see.

Have you ever tried looking in your rearview mirror while you drive your car forward? Sounds ridiculous, doesn't it? But this is what we're actually doing when we constantly think about our past as we try to move forward in the Lord! It's a surefire way to crash.

Friend, we need to learn from the past, not live in it.  Be released today of the "woulda, coulda, and shoulda's" of your past.  We cannot move forward unless we stop looking backward and focus on the great things God has for us ahead!

Your family in the Lord with much agape love,

George, Baht Rivka, Elianna & Obadiah
Arad, Israel
