Worthy Brief - 3/19/2025

Friend, expect great things!

Luke 12:30-32 For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things. But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you.  Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

In Alexander the Great's circle was a philosopher known for his sharp mind but modest means. He approached Alexander for financial support and was told to take what he needed from the imperial treasury. The philosopher then asked what today's equivalent would be of $50,000. The treasurer balked at this request, unsure if he could authorize such a hefty sum without confirmation.

When he asked Alexander, the ruler replied, "Pay the money at once. The philosopher has done me a singular honor. By the largeness of his request, he shows that he has understood both my wealth and generosity."

In the same way, we honor the Lord when we come to Him humbly and ask for great things. Often, people may believe they are not "worthy" of receiving great things from the Lord, so they neglect to even ask! But if we're asking according to His will and seeking His Kingdom, then we should expect GREAT things!

Friend, so be encouraged, ask, and believe! After all, Yeshua (Jesus) Himself told us, "It is your Father's good pleasure to give you the Kingdom" [Luke 12:32]. Let's believe that He means exactly what He says and approach Him with the confidence of a child who trusts in the goodness of their Father.

Your family in the Lord with much agape love,

George, Baht Rivka, Elianna and Obadiah
